Tuition

I provide tuition for children in Years 1–6 across all primary subjects and English up to Year 8.

I also have extensive experience teaching Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 1 for SEND students.

My approach is rooted in nurturing self-belief and curiosity. Sessions are tailored to the learner’s pace and needs, using their natural curiosity to spark motivation and make learning meaningful.

I use practical activities, visual aids, and real-life examples to help pupils feel secure in the basics while being positively challenged at their level to achieve their best.

Mentoring

Alongside academic learning, I mentor pupils who experience anxiety or face challenges in friendships, studies and social situations. This includes:

• Developing kindness towards oneself and others

• Facing fears gradually and recognising successes

• Strengthening the ability to manage difficult emotions

• Building confidence in everyday situations, such as travelling on public transport or advocating for oneself

Mentoring sessions are designed to foster authenticity, encourage self-reflection, and equip learners with the emotional tools they need to navigate life’s challenges.

Group Learning

In group sessions, children not only make academic progress but also develop essential life skills such as collaboration, communication and empathy.

I create a supportive and respectful environment where every learner feels valued, and where group interaction becomes a powerful part of the learning process.
